There is a STG-57 rifle in the movie.

The medic absolutely slayed me.

Every homosexual I served with was a medic.

silver bullet and chill, indeed.

One of my favo-rite movies as well. They used to show it on TV back in the late 70's or early 80's. If they played it now, heads would explode..."a bunch of white guys killing black people"...

This movie alone started me on the downward spiral of never having enough crossbows, assault rifles and military gear.

Great movie, and a really nice variety of different weapons shown.

That movie also fucked me for life.  Saw it twice in Korea, in Korean theaters with Korean subtitles, while munching on Korean movie snacks in 1979.

Try buying an FAL back then on E4 wages.

Great movie. Great actors. I have it on Bluray as well as "Who Dares Wins." Both were produced by Euan Lloyd. The Wild Geese and Where Eagles Dare are my favorite movies starring Richard Burton.

A staple of my childhood as well.

I somehow convinced Mom to get me a subscription to SOF after seeing this.

I might have to revisit it.
Did not think it was that good back then.
Cross of Iron, Where Eagles Dare is up there with the best.

"Do you mean you intend to kill them all? The UN will go mad!"

It's high up there among DVDs I slap in to play while cleaning guns after a trip to the range.
