I worried about the affects of a Hillary win before and during the election. Then Trump won.
Now I often wonder what would have happened if Hillary had won? At this point I think we would have rolled over. "Well in 4 years blah blah." We wouldn't have gone to the extent the lefts have since losing. Trump's winning and the subsequent actions of the left have made us frosty. You see, we would have accepted as a whole the result of the election. It's the American way. But the election ended in our favor. Now we all see the left completely disregarding due process. The American way. And now we're even more pissed than before the election. We won. Thru due process. And now we have large portion of the population disregarding this. These people are threatening violence and rejecting the same system in which they're allowed to vote. Now we are ready to do something. We won by due process. We won't just roll over. So, if Hillary had won it would be more bitching on ARFCOM. Crazy gun panic. No violence on our part. Life would mostly carry on. But Trump won by due process. And that process is being questioned by people not even born here. And worse rejected by millions who were born here. They're not Americans. We are. And now we have a reason to fight. |

If Trump hadn't won, a liberal would be seated on the Supreme Court. The assault on the second amendment would begin shortly thereafter. Millions and millions of illegals would be legalized, millions more would pour over an open border. Due to the massive influx of new, sick, poor illegals registering to vote, Republicans would never win another election again. Taxes would go up, energy costs would go up as the EPA was unleashed, and the first amendment would be 'modernized' to better suit leftist PC sensibilities. Christianity would be increasingly suppressed in favor or islam. The United States would slowly descend into third world status.
In short, we were very, very lucky. Here on the forum NeverTrumpers would be smugly pointing out how right they were and blaming Trumpers. Most of the rest of us would be panic buying and panic commenting about what was ahead of us. I doubt there would have been any riots like we saw with the left after Trump won. That's just not how we roll. |

I now think (like everyone here said) that she really was going to fuck this nation over if she won. A blowout like the OP described would be a green light for endless fuckery. The Democrat party would be some brazen motherfuckers. Now I wonder if we could've witnessed the introduction of legislation to "deal" with racist Trump supporters. She wouldn't have been in office long before the democrats found some solution to the irredeemable Trump supporter problem. After the supreme court was stacked with socialists it would have no problem restricting free speech. We'd probably see a nationwide Safe act and maybe a federal license to be allowed to own firearms. They would have certainly restricted internet ammunition sales.
