I have one if the TX HTF but figured why not get one going here. I'm house/dag sitting and bored. Feel free to share your pics.

I'll start with this guy. The pen to the protein was left open and he helped himself for a few days before I got to him. I walked up to the pen and he tried to gore me but hit the pen before getting a 5.56 to the dome.

Really hoped to get this one but he ghosted in mid Oct before rifle season.

I watched this buck for about a week before I decided to take him. He had a broken leg and I figured the coyotes would get him if I didn't.

Busted this doe. Don't let anyone tell you 223 doesn't work. I use MK262 and trashed the exit shoulder it was so tore up.

My first turkey. 6.5Creedmoor through the neck/back at 200yds. DRT.

More to come.

I'll pay you $100 U.S. Dollars to shoot yourself in a pen. Shot has to be fatal though.

Ouch

For someone who "hunts" animals in a pen that was a little brutal

Oh I know exactly what I'm talking about, thanks though.

I have nothing against what he says he did, but to call it "hunting" is a little ridiculous.

No you don't know what you are talking about. I'll explain. The "pen" is built to keeps hogs out, so that deer can eat the high protein feed. he shot a hog that got into the pen where deer are supposed to eat. he killed a food thief. He wasn't hunting for the pig.. Thanks for playing anyway.

As stated, I know what I am talking about.  He killed a nuisance animal, I get it.  I do it all the time around the farm.  But I don't call that hunting when they are served up on a platter like that for me.  That would be like setting a live trap and then shooting what you catch and calling it hunting.

He started a hunting thread.  Happened to include a hog that he shot which was in a pen.  Hogs are a problem in TX.  Most folks shoot them on sight and many leave them to the buzzards.   My feelings aren't hurt in the slightest :)

Good work Clharr, thanks for sharing some cool pics!

Not many hogs left here. We get a few here and there. 40-50yd shot. I went and looked for her the next day, she ended up in a tank about 200yds away. My shot was a little far back.

Humor as a defense mechanism is cute in children, but kind of pathetic in adults.

It's a catch 22. I miss having something big to hunt year round but the deer hunting is much better and the turkey and quail have made a great comeback. We now have about four flocks of 10-20 turkey each, after not seeing any for a couple of years.
