Dillon or Hornady for progressive.
I don't own one, but a friend of mine owns several of the square deal bs. They're nice. And cheap. It kind of depends on how much convenience you want to pay for. I've got an old RL 1050 (ghetto automated with a treadmill) I use for brass processing and conversion in the case of 300 blk and a Hornady LNL I use for loading. If you don't plan on doing a ton of reloading, just get a single stage. You can do alot with a single stage press. And it'll still come in handy later once/if you graduate to something faster. |

If you know nothing start with a single stage.
I highly recommend a Forster Coax in that category. Easiest and fastest single stage I have ever had. Wish I could have tried it before I bought my first press. |

I've reloaded on a single stage press for years, just now jumping to a progressive and just for 9mm.
RCBS rockchucker is a solid press, Dillon 550b is my next one. |

How much shooting do you do a year? If you answered more than 1k a year a single state isn't for you. If the answer is 2-5k some kind of turret will fit your needs. More than 6k progressive is what you seek, 1 caliber then it's the square deal b from Dillon. Any more than that then either a Dillon 650 or 1050 is what you seek. I have a Hornady LNL, a 1050 and a Lee turret, I've been up and down the road, and Dillon is the best choice.

Dillon. I started with a Lee single stage, not really worth the added expense. If you are not an idiot and have a reasonable amount of patience and intelligence you should do your research and start with a Dillon.
