I had to get a shot in the arse for a bad poison oak outbreak a couple weeks ago. The G19 stayed in the Safariland 7377 on my hip, nurse said "Nice pistol. Do you like it? I want to get my husband one."
That's my experience. |

A few winters ago some college kid rear ended me in a four car pileup during a snowstorm and completely immobilized my car. While the cop was interviewing me , the wrecker pulled my car onto a flatbed to get it off the road.
For safety reasons I wasn't allowed up on his truck. So after the cop had finished with me I had to ask the flatbed truck operator to get up on his truck and retrieve my .45 before he hauled it away. That was an awkward moment. |

Had a doc that I'd never seen before ask me to take my shirt off to check me out. He quickly discovered my Glock 30 in a Comp-tac IWB holster.. He asked me if Tennessee required a permit and a couple questions about Glocks. I informed him of the laws and answered his questions about the pistol and we moved on to my medical problems. I was perfectly within the law so I don't care what a doctor or anyone else thinks about it.

Met a girl at a restaurant for our 1st date. Instead of a casual hug, she went in with the real deal, with arms around waist and a big squeeze. I felt her double check it with her hand, so I knew she that she knew. She brought it up during dinner and we had a good conversation about carrying.

When I first started carrying, I carried OWB. The first time I went to piss at a urinal, I didn't think about all the extra weight on my belt. When I undid my pants, the extra weight just dropped my pants almost to my knees.
Just then I hear the door to the bathroom open. Ofuckfuckfuckfuckfuck I'm scrambling to pull my pants back up, get my shirt over the pistol and not piss on my jeans in the process. I sheepishly looked over my shoulder to see the door swinging closed and no sign of whomever had opened it. I don't know what they saw, but I guess they changed their mind.

I'm in church just before the service began and I reach over the row ahead of me to shake hands. My suit jacket pulls up and over my gun. I hear a gasp from an elderly lady behind me followed by several snickers from others. A week later, the same woman asked if I could show her how to change magazines and load it "in case I went down in a fire fight". Not kidding.

Me and the wife were at a movie theater. I went to the concession counter to get us each a drink. Guy on my right turned away from the counter and hit his left elbow hard on my IWB 1911.
His eyes got big, then he showed me his sheriffs department badge and asked if I had a permit for it. I said yes, he said okay and walked off. |

Went out on a "meet the parents" date with my then girlfriend (now wife). She said we were going to a play and dinner at their place afterwards. We decided to carpool from their house to the play and her Dad drove. We got there, parked and made our way up to the entrance and FUCK it's a courthouse with metal detractors! WTF? Who puts a theater in a courthouse?
Told her dad I needed to put something back in the car so we walked back and the ladies went inside. Pistol, 2 mags, automatic knife and pepper spray go into the trunk. He was just chuckled and was like "that's a lot of stuff". We ended up going to the range a couple times after that. |

Wife's 1st visit to the oncologist, BC.
She got up on the table, fully dressed, nurse started feeling her legs for some reason. Nurse got down to her lower leg, and came to a screeching halt!! (Wife was using an ankle holster)
Nurse did an about-face, and left the room. Wife handed me her holster and gun, doc came in and went about the rest of the visit. |

I was taking my annual Fire Department physical one year and the nurse told me to take off my boots so i could be weighed. When i pulled off my roper my Colt Agent slid out of it on to the office floor. The nurse just looked at me but the Dr. behind her got a big grin on his face and said,is that a Colt? What model? Quite a while ago, possibly even before we had concealed carry in KS I was carrying a Glock 27 in an IWB holster at about 3 OClock. As I was walking out of movie in the crowd I managed to get my right arm out of position and bumped someone w/ the rear sight on it. I knew what happened. His eyes got huge as he realized what he had bumped. I just apologized and slipped off into the crowd. |
