I missed the story the first time around. They published something without checking it out, then contacted the man involved who said "None of your business" so they publish a second story that seems to imply the man is lying? Shitty journalism. They never should have reported it the first time, then when they could never have verified if it was true or not they should have dropped it.

Two things attributed to the child caused me to question the account.
When the boy said, "They say I'm going to die" and "How will I know when I get to where I'm going?. Neither sounded to me like they would come from the mouth of a five year old. I chalked it up to Santa paraphrasing and gave him the benefit of the doubt. |
