Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Invisalign, those ghostly braces...

Anyone have experience with these "invisible" braces? I need to get my teeth fixxed and was looking at other options besides the metal mouth option. (I do not feel I would enjoy metal rods breaking off and poking my cheek)

How much did you pay for them (all in all)
Im gonna be trying them WITHOUT insurance.

I've got a good friend who has them and she said she paid close to 5 grand for them.
