One of the biggest hangups for most people is location, location, location.  If you can get a commercially zoned space to run your business and they will allow you to open a gunshop, then all is good.  Or if you have a place to keep your inventory besides your home. Or if you were getting your FFL for more of a "weekend job" rather than a full time business- they are more inclined to give it to a person who lives more at the outskirts of major cities; Mesquite, Nevada rather than Las Vegas, Nevada, for example.

Also, state, county, and city laws apply.

I want an FFL just to be able to buy and sell firearms without having to go through all the transfer fees, etc. Plus I'd be able to get cheap betas, heheheh...
