I'm looking to get a new pistol and I have always wanted a full size 1911 style sidearm.

I'm looking for a model with night sites and possibly a ten round capacity. This will be a home defense/take to range and practice firearm. Not a CCP. I have my G30 for that.

Colt, Kimber, Springfield, any others?

I'm just starting to shop online right now and thought I'd throw this out for some feedback on what others might like to help me in my purchase.
