never handled machineguns, huh? complex machinery runs on hydrocarbons. toss in dust, dirt, carbon and some bearing grease...and clean hands every two hours or so become a touch of civilization in a man's often dirty world. remember: we are manly men, doing manly things with dangerous devices. that doesn't mean we need dirty fingernails to pick our noses with! |

The person to the right of the invisible Grock is FrankSquid. Note that his cammo works nearly as well as Grocks! The person sitting in the middle is Bendover When the pic was taken I was sitting next to Ed, to his left. The beers were going down mighty smoothly! |

I had a good time again this year. Bendover and I have lots of pictures and will be posting them soon.

The story is one of the numerous Bulletfest threads ciculating today.
A house was struck by a .30 cal round 1 1/4 miles away or so. Campy had to shut it down early. |

What caused the cars to ignite? Tracers? Or were there pre-planted incendiary devices in the cars?? Or just left over gas??

The white Astro van never did ignite, but you could smell the old varnish that was once gas. It stank from 20 yards away! Later in the day someone placed some road flares in or on a washing machine and lit it with a "well aimed shot". Not sure who it was. The fires had to be contained as much as possible because the field itself kept catching fire, even though it was kinda wet. Some tracers and incendiary rounds were fired as well, although it was justifiably frowned on. |

Damn you boys kow how to do it. We had or own gather in Chehalis, Wa. that we tagged [b]"BulletWest"[/b] we only had abot 20 or so people come out, but [b]Daniel Tanner from Tannerite[/b] came out and showed us his toys including an [blue]Atomic Simulator[/blue].
Hopefully more people around the country will start planning these large scale events. |
