I had a lot of folks asking about another Bulletfest CD. If I can get some good video, I will put another one together.

Here is how it works. If you will send me a VHS copy [b]or[/b] an mpeg copy of your video, I will load it into my PC and return your copy to you. Mpegs must be sent to me by US mail. I have a crappy connection and videos will take about a month for me to download. Once the CD is finished, I will send you a copy of the finished CD. You will get credit for your contribution.

The video I shot this year basically sucks so I am really hoping somebody got some good video of the guns running. I am not a professional at this so don't look for super high quality but the video from last year is kind of fun to pull out & watch from time to time. Once the video is ready, I will also send out a few copies like I did last year so that others can make additional copies.

please keep this on top for a few days....lumpy's cd-rom of bulletfest keeps me inspired thru the long, cruel ohio winter!

folks, if you shot video, please send it to lumpy. everyone, including those that have never been to bulletfest, enjoy watching the guys have some hammertime fun.

It wont be for sale pal. I send a bunch of em out and count on the members to copy & share. Seemed to work pretty good last year.

I may even try and throw together some type of music video type of thing using footage from the last 3 years but this is only a thought for now. I will have to see what I end up with.

Just an Idea

(Think of Bit torrent as a cousin to Napster in that there is a tracker that tells your system where to find the file parts. The tracker will point to other systems which have parts of the file you have yet to download. This allows you to be downloading from several other systems at the same time like some gnutella clients - but unlike many gnutella this will allow you to stop and resume without any file loss or curruption. - It is excelent for full CD sized downloads. Its free and unlike kaza or others that only search so many hops, since you are using the same tracker it will find the exact file.)

I got lots of really nice video, but it will probably be about a week before I have it all in MPEG form. When I do I'll send you a CD.

If my rough math is correct, that 4000rpm gun shooting for 12 seconds = 66rds per sec, or about 800 rounds total...
I'd almost be willing to say it was running faster than that, and dumped a whole 1000rd case during that 12-13sec video clip...

You can't appreciate that gun unless you are a few feet from it...

It's like standing next to a race engine at full throttle.

The db level from it is incredible...

I shot about an hour, but a lot of it is just walking around, camera bouncing. I left the REC on because by the time I heard something going off that I wanted to tape, the mag or belt was empty -- so, I just left it running a lot so I could just swing it around and catch the shot.

I've got some pretty good footage though.

Hey Lumpy, put me on the top of the list for the 1st release, I asked before alot of guys even got home. I copied and sent that video to some friends down under, who have been raped by their government who took all of their guns away!
