Your respect quotient just went up big time. From your name I assume that you're a person who attaches importance to history and heritage. The Buffalo Soldiers served with disctinction in difficult circumstances. I doubt you would use the name lightly.

I'm glad to see Buff's apology. I think it shows character and while I had glanced at the post in question a couple of times, Though I had not participated, having more pressing threads to attend to. Having been a lifetime Republican and having worked on the Oklahoma Campaign staff for Reagan the second time and Bush Senior, I think I can safely say without fear of being called a DU troll, That the only thing I will miss about Strom is his seat.

You do however owe one to Strom,and since he is no longer here,things will just have to go on(I personally think he would just let it slide) as we all should do when one disagrees with what we believe!

I will be watching closely. I assume from your screen name that you are black. I too respect history, we will see if your posts from here on in are any different. But hell I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, I make a point of judging a man on the content of his character, not the color of his skin, but if your sensitive about race, well its fun to goof on people like that.
