You've got a population where there are more AKs than toothbrushes.
You've got a faction loyal to the old regime. You've got a faction that sees liberators as no more than an occupying force. The above factions look like Mr. Average Iraqi when they're not picking off US troops. Might be a good time to acquire some decent indigenous HUMINT so we can get a heads up on planned attacks and beef up the manpower to minimize spontaneous attacks on US ground forces targets of opportunity.... |
