What are these for? [url]http://www.aso.com/aircraft/72244/ext-3.jpg[/url] They are vortex generators. They help keep the airstream from separating from the airfoil at high angles of attack, in otherwords, they reduce stall speed. |

Piper Comanche's were a sweet looking aircraft!!!Styling much ahead of it's time, and much nicer looking than the 140's, Cherokees, Warriors, ect. How about the twin Comanche???Beautiful!!!!Never cared too much for the v tailed doctor killers....
