You can substitute just about any material posession in place of "gun" and it would still hold true.  But no suprise, to the Socalists in Britan, "gun culture" is a bad thing that needs to be erased.

Statistically, more blacks are killed by blacks than whites.  For the liberals who like pointing out disparagies based on demographics ("Blacks make up X percent of the general population, but XX of the prison inmates"), what does this communicate?  I think the causes for this situation can be traced to such factors as the glorification of the gangsta lifestyle, the hopelessness of being in the welfare cycle (aka the liberal plantation), and tolerance of unacceptable behavior in inner city communities.  

The blacks I've met who work to improve their (individual) lot in life, who take responsibility for their actions, and contribute in a positive way to society at large don't seem to have these problems.  Then again, they get criticized for trying to "act white."

Back to the original question:

2.  It's the perpetuation of the "white devil slave master" myth that keeps the funds flowing in.  Can you see the NAACP having a campaign to raise funds, "Send your donations now to stop a brutha from cappin' a brutha."

Looking back over this I can see that it would be easy for someone to misinterpret these comments as being racist/bigoted, but I'd say the same thing if similar problems were in Irish, Italian, or other communities.  These days it isn't PC to point out that the emperor is naked.
