So it seems the Taliban style leaders have been put in power in remote northern Pakistan. The banned music and reburkaed(sp) the women so they won't be 'commoditized' and disrepected.
I assume that this has something to do with our inability to cover the back door in Afghanistan. WTF??!! We kick in the front door and no one covering the back??? We didn't think they'd run to Pakistan?? The only muslim nuclear power btw. The president of pakistan assures us that everything is under control and we have nothing to worry about- he can handle it. This is the same jerkoff that stopped us from nabbing bin laden back when clinton was in office.
Now they use the Paki border area to run raids and attacks on U.S. and coalition forces in afghanistan. They're almost as bad as syria.
Should we trust the paki's?????

The Pakis pretty much don't control the border areas either.  Those are "semi-autonomous" lands, in many cases the Pak Army and police have never operated there.  Too dangerous.

From articles I've read. These guys were voted into power on Pakistan's Northwest Frontier Province, The Tribal areas. But lost out on elections to the east.

As soon as they got elected there. They started calling for the U.S. Troops to leave Pakistan entirely.
And as of, last month I think. They said that if they cannot enforce Sharia in NWFP. They will force President Musharraf "to remove his uniform". In other words, overthrow him. (But make what you will of that)

And it seems he buckled and let them Talibanise the Tribal areas...

Pakistan already operates inder Sharia law.  The Islamic nuts just want a version of ultra-radical Sharia that isn't practised much beyond Saudi Arabia.
