I just finished reading Unintended Consequences last week.  It was one of the best books I have read.

My copy is spoken for, but it is a GREAT read.  I read the first 250 pages straight through.

You will be changed after reading it. Even if minimally, there will be a slightly new outlook.

You're right, Wolf.

I am having a difficult time putting it down.

Read 120 pages so far today.

Just went on my evening run and will read a bit more before bed.

Who's got the arfcom copy now?  Last I saw it I sent it to some guy in Michigan, can't remember his username.  It's the big ol' hardback copy, it's got usernames from (I think) another board written inside one of the covers.  Did that ever get passed on, or is the guy in Michigan hoarding it?

I can't imagine trying to read an entire book online. The only thing worse would be printing it. Geeze, buy the book.

I can see previewing it online to see if it is worth it, but even that is a hassle.

Damn, you guys are late to the party.

Unintended Consequences is the canonical book of the AR15.com community.

Do not borrow the book, do not get it out of the library, buy it and support Mr. Ross, no one has done more to bolster our image than him.

You can usually find at least one copy of it at every gun show you go to. If you have a friend who is an anti or a fence sitter make them read this book. It explains the gun culture better than any argument you can come up with. It might not change their mind but it will help them understand why you feel the way you do about gun rights and the 2nd amendment.
