We charge $15 to shoot a 30 round mag through the AK-47 or M-16, or $30 to run a 50 round belt through the MG-42. That price includes the ammo. It may seem a little high, but one of us has to stop what we are doing, go out back, give them a runthrough on safety, and show them how to do it.

When I was in PA one of the shops [i'm trying to remember the name] rented a UMP45 for 25 an hour plus ammo.Oh by the way I LOVED THE UMP

my kid fired an M60 last fest for 40 bucks, 100 rds, it is a little pricey, but heck, the ammo probably cost 10 bucks for it, and the owner of the mg had to pony up for the cost of the gun up front, as well as the ammo, i think of it as supporting the gun friends on the board....
wait till you meet grin and barret, my son and i met him last year, my son got to fire his barret 50 cal, hence the name grin and barret, you should have seen the look on the kids face... he will be looking for him again this year, he has talked about the 50 cal experience all year |

mickey, $15 per mag on the shoulder fired seems to be the going rate of the rental guys i've questioned that are coming to bulletfest.
as i am treating the vendors 'right', i have specifically requested everyone to keep their prices as reasonable as possible. btw, i'll donate some ammo to the awms kitty and toss the guns i have into your racks. tell the greek i'm gonna make him work his ass off showing folks how to shoot machineguns! heheh! |

Been told of about 1 jam per mag on a Las Vegas - rented MP5, FYI.
Perhaps they didn't clean it often enough...... |
