Would it be more popular if they made it reasonably priced and reliable, or is the best option still a Carbon 15?

Hell, I wouldn't mind being able to buy an ASA these days. I love California.

I haven't heard about it but that doesn't mean much.
If the gun ever becomes reliable, I would buy one.

I bought one about a month ago.

I've got over 800 rounds through it with very good results.

I'll keep everyone posted on my progress.

No, Professional Ordnance Carbon 15, Type 20.

To my knowledge, PO had all the chronic problems fixed before they went bankrupt.

I'm sure Bushmaster will tweak it a bit, but I wouldn't expect big changes.

Is it me or is the carbon-15 borrowing from the AEK971 design?

btw: Is it a more reliable design than the AR15? Less dirty? About like an M17s? Bolt sure looks like its very tighty fit into the reciver (bad operation when dirty).

Are these stamped "Bushmaster" now, or are they still ones made at the PO Factory?

Couple Questions.

1.) No lube in the upper? How's that working out?

2.) How much do they cost?

1. I couldn't bring myself to do it. 1st trip out I lubed up the bolt & carrier pretty good. Got some jams when it got hot.

2nd trip I only lubed the internals, but still got some jamming when hot, though less.

So I'm going to strip the CLP and bake in some MiliTec in the metal parts, and try that. (only metal to metal parts)

2. I paid $600 on a close-out price before Bushie bought them.

WG - don't know about the NE Survival get-together - I need to do it. Gotta check schedule, been a busy summer - lot's of military business - hasn't slacked off. Where we attacking next?
