I'm no expert but he has Air Force command pilot wings, he is a major or LT colonel, the top right ribbon looks like a bronze star, and he has WWII and Korea campaign ribbons.
I'm sure someone who knows better than me will be along. *not a military guy, but a student of history and general useless knowledge |

Can you tell us his full name?

Command Pilot wings in top right of photo.
Major guessing on hue vs collar (Major is gold, Lt Col is silver) What was his first name? Lots of awards in Britton name here for WW II / Korea. |

Little tid bit but the US Air Force, at that time the US Army Air Corp, had the second highest casualties of any branch of service. Second only to the Army itself.
