As much as it pains me to say it, I think the odds are that Hillary is going to win the election. And the first thing she is going to go after is so-called "military-style", "assault rifles" ... that is, any rifle with a hand grip or other furniture that makes it look like an evil weapon of war.
She has stated that she will issue Executive Orders that, at least, will forbid the transfer of any such weapons, so you can't sell, trade or even pass them on to your children when you die. I'm sure she has other orders up her sleeve that will further restrict these guns and their ammunition to the point that we can't really use them. That said, to lay out your dough to buy an AR-15, AK-47, or other similar weapons might just be a waste of money long term. Sure, you can enjoy them (maybe) while you're alive, but then I suppose your $1,000-5,000 investment goes to the shredder. And I doubt any 'grandfathering' is going to save them, either. So, are you planning on doing any panic buying? |

Yep, your right, roll over and give up now. Heck might as well turn them in or destroy them now, save yourself some time.
The fucked part about this election is that she could lose by 87% and people would still believe she won if the media said so. Yet 87% of people think the media is shit.
I don't care what happens after I die. It's worth it to enjoy them until that happens.

FPNI
Who wants to come gather my rifles now? Come take them off my hands before Hillary knows I have them. Shaking in my boots over here. |
There is no realistic way the government can stop FTF sales without national registration. Even if they went down that road, the registration rate of already owned firearms would be pathetically low, look a NY. Many there, especially in the rural parts of the state, pretty much said fuck you, and there ain't much they can do about it.
I fully intend to sell most/all of my guns and ammo in the next few months.
I'm going to buy another ar10 for $799.00 today cause of this thread.
OP...shut up with all that negativity... |
Executive orders dont work that way.
If they are banned they will become more valuable. |
I say get as many now as you can. OP makes the mistake of assuming we'll turn them over once they're banned. Fuck that. What's mine is mine. |
A "hand grip"?
8 years is a long time to hang around to be a liberal troll. |
OP, go back to your real hobbies. This "gun thing" is just too much trouble for you. Roll over and play dead. |
Hand grips are not what they are going after, nor is it where THE MONEY IS....
Ammo and mags! They have learned from their ways. |
So what happens if you replace the slide of your pistol with a carbine upper? Yes I'm referring to the ad in the back of the latest American Rifleman.
There is another option other than selling or handing down.
Use them. |
Even if she wins she won't take office until January and Executive Orders are not the end-all and be-all some people believe them to be - if they were you'd already know it.
If she tries something like that she might start an actual civil war, no joke. Texas first, other states jump on board with them. And then a stand-off between a states national guard and federal agents, somebody in an incredibly tense situation makes a mistake and a gun goes off, everybody fires to protect themselves. War. Seriously. There are a lot of battle hardened veterans who simply won't roll over now.

This thread is stupid and the OP should feel bad.
People were posting the same bullshit 8 years ago. Did you sell all your AR's in 2008, OP? |
Your thinking is wrong OP. We already know she can be bought. The NRA will just need to start a buy Hillary campaign. For a few million she can be the most pro gun pres ever.
When is the absolute best time to buy a rifle that the OP describes?
When you are afraid or nervous to engage in a completely lawful activity for fear of negative repercussions from your government. |
Grab America by it's pussies and toss them out of our vountry, starting with OP.
