Disregarding pay, what would you do if you could have any job?

Rules:

It's gotta be a real job.

It can't be something like sitting around all day and getting paid.

I would want to be a S.W.A.T. cop. That seems like a cool job.

Alternatively, a Delta Force medic.

How about you?

I think I'd like to be a sqaud Designated Marksman.... I lack the attention span and such to be a sniper.

If I had the know how, and all the certs, I'd want to be a network designer. That would pay beaucoup $$.. ;)

That's what I do for a living and I cannot wait to get out of the industry.

I am working on my second career (part-time) and I hope to make it my dream job.

chief firearms researcher at the Springfield Armory, as long as I didn't have to live in Mass. The army's small arms collection is there on the second floor and I did a tour there 2 weeks ago, you are in a room with over 5500 rifles, many of them M1 and M14 experimental variants. The tour is a must see, the museum itself is fantastic as well.

1) Texas Ranger

2) U.S. Marshall

3) Restaurant/Hotel/cruise evaluator for an independent source that provides information to travel agents, etc. I would love to travel the world, & be provided for while getting paid to do it.(if I were single, or could take my family with me.)

4) A weapons,& ammunition tester.

5) An animal control person who is paid to shoot the nutrias, or other vermin all day long with silenced weapons, in an unrealistic hope of eliminating them.

6) Any position in the busty beer factory mentioned earlier! (if I were still single)

I was very close to getting my dream job.

Currently I'm a military Jet Pilot...however..

We have to fly them like they were light civil aircraft rather than the warbirds they were intended to be.

Presently flying degraded airframes almost 30 years old that have suffered from 15 years of underfunding.

Yeah...its fun...but starting to become very very frustrating.
