Being a DC comics guy as oposed to Marvel, I have to say my Number one of all time is "Batman." Followed closly by Green Arrow/Green Lantern from the "Hard Travelling Hero" days. I also like Frank Castle, the Punisher (As done by Garth Ennis),Ennis's "Preacher" series (maybe the best adult series ever done) and Dark Horse's "Hellboy."

It is funny I liked comics when I was a kid, but had nothing to do with them as an adult. But now my son (age 5) is a Batman/Justice league fan, so I have got back into them. Mainly just stick to the adult trade paperback type series, and watch  the DVD's with the boy.

my favorite comic book character was definitely
"SGT. ROCK" he was a real American hero! I wish
they would make a movie about that comic book.

SGT. FURY and his Howling Commandos was also good.

Yay!  Another Shulkie fan.  Strictly the later "Sensational" She-Hulk & not the earlier "Savage" version.  Especially when she had her own book that constantly broke the 4rth wall (making side comments to the reader, disagreeing with the artist, etc).  Gotta love a 7'+ woman who can juggle Buicks.

That actor doesn't look like a very convincing Frank Castle [:(]

True, but I'll wager that this movie is MUCH better than that piece of crap Dolph Lunkhead version.  At the very least he's wearing the skull shirt.

Some of my other favs:
Punisher (of course)
Freak Brothers
Kevin Matchstick/Mage
Jonah Hex
Flaming Carrot
Reid Fleming, Worlds Toughest Milkman
Lusipher from Poison Elves (foul tempered Elf assasin/thief)
Lenore (the adventires of a cute little dead girl)  very twisted black humor comic
Cutey Bunnie (B&W small press African-American anthromorphic bunny super heroine...early 80's)

I posted this topic as a joke. I guess the joke is on me. I should be trying to sell comic books instead of hunting video's with AR's being used.
Never read a comic book, or for that matter any fiction book. There are so many true to life books of real super hero's.
Not wanting to offend anyone. Some like chocolate some like vanilla.

Have a great day
