I get back in from the woods after a morning of squirrel hunting back at the ancestral homestead and mom is going through the mail that had just arrived.
I hear her say, "Hmm, I got something from PETA!"
Dad tells mom to send the envelope back to them without postage as a form of protest and then I say  "Just give me the envelope, I'll take care of it."
I stuffed a squirrel tail in the envelope and mailed it when I got back to my pad in the city.
I hope whoever opens that envelope is a true-blue hard core bunny hugger...

It is my understanding that if you tape the business reply envelope to a box of bricks, the recipient will have to pay the postage...

Aimless:  Grey and Fox squirrel season here is open from the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend until Jan 15th.  I usually don't get out until the mulberry trees are fruiting--gives the squirrels time to wean off the late litters (I HATE shooting lactating mama squirrels).

Cincinnatus:  I've sent squirrel tails in the mail before, to Mepps (the fishing lure manufacturer), so I'm fairly sure that I didn't break any laws.  It'll be just my luck that this kind of ops now falls under some kind of terrorism law...

Andreuha:  If you would like to make a donation to PETA,  the addy is PO Box 96684 Washington, DC 20077-7538

And while we're on the subject of PETA.....
don't forget to request a catalog or five from them.  All those printing costs and postage add up.

Sweet!

EDIT:
OK, 200 catalogs for me to discard on my way out of the PO and 100 more for the DU.

Wow!  We only get about 4 months here (and 2 of those are during deer season).  Of course it's really too hot (here) to hunt them before October anyway.

Edited to add:  LMAO about your "childish" act.  Shame on you!  (and thanks for the idea)
