My understanding on current nuclear strategy as it pertains to Russia and the United States is that more accurate, variable yield weapons makes a nuclear apocalypse less likely and a nuclear exchange more likely. The Russkies are bringing their kids home, maybe because they are saber rattling, maybe because they are preparing a strike that will destabilize western governments and start WWIII.
Bottom line, your SHTF scenarios may very well be on their way to coming true. |

Folks, there's enough shit going on around the world right this minute to make your skin crawl. And that is just by using open source data.
