I've noticed that lots of folks here post their opinion like it's the gospel truth.  They say "Glock sucks" in the same way that they say "the grass is green".
So, lets get it out of the way, let's hear what you people are ACTUALLY authorities on.  Or what you at least actually know more than the average joe about.
I have degrees in architecture and construction, so I know a decent amount about how things go together and why.
I also worked in a gunshop in college, so I know a bit about who makes what in what calibers.  I used to have a grasp on the S&W numbering system, but I appear to have lost my mojo.
I ride a Harley Sportster, so I know a good bit about Harleys in general, and Sportsters in particular.

Other than what I am trained for professionally, I would have to say that I am an authority on Holley race carburetors and tuning them for drag racing or very high performance street engines. Ditto for race automotive ignition systems. Maybe authority is a strong word - expert might be more like it. It's my specialty!

Bullshit.

It is the medium that produces my best work.

However, this is an area where everyone here seems to be an authority.

Hey, you asked. [:)]

Being an authority on things practical is a surefire recipe to becoming a "bore".
You know, like the guy who asks what route you took, and then proceeds to tell you a better one you SHOULD have taken.
Or the guy who knows all about whether it's better to buy or lease a car, and why.
Boy is he a pleasure to talk to at cocktail parties.

Haha, good response.
Having become the "responsible son" while my brother has a degree in "German", I have to rib the people that have those "useless degrees".  I remember all the art school kids that transfered into architecture when they realized they didn't want to be a teacher or a museum curator for the rest of their lives.  God they could drone on!
I am actually very interested in art & design, I just never could get into remembering styles or artist's names.  Those pictures of buildings that our architectural history professors would show us, and ask us to tell her what era, style, designer, aaaaaaaaaaaack!

Arne, (or Alois)  Arnegger, (Landscapes, mountain scenes), early last century I think. I have seen prints of the original oil I have. Painting was purchased in late 30's, don't know when painted. Any info would be gratefully reciieved!![:D]

If you think the work you have is actually in that range, you need to go with a major auction house, such as Sothbys.
The first step, should be research to see what dealers are out there who represents his work/estate.

These are some who do....
