I don't know how he got in but I have a damn mouse in the house. I have no less than 8 traps set right now to try and catch him. I spotted his ass peeping out from under my couch earlier so I grabbed the NEF .22 revolver and loaded it up with rat shot (#12 shot) shells. Managed to crack off 2 rounds at him but missed. He managed to cruise into the kitchen and hide so I set up a perimeter using 7 of the traps in the hopes I can catch him. I will be dropping Decon tomorrow.

I am sitting here now hoping to spot him him again, locked & loaded. God Damned vermin.

Don't shoot him. Just put out traps. Make sure they are next to the walls as mice travel along them. Put them near the garbage of other food sources. Good luck.

LOL...going to shoot the mouse in your own house. Might as well do it all the way and just get a 12 guage or ar15 with a 30 round magazine.

Perimeter defences proved to be the key.

Sitting here a few minutes ago and heard a snap in the kitchen. One mouse just got a one way tour of the city sewer system. I still think it would have been more fun to pop him with the .22 though.

Not sure if it is even the same mouse though because this one looked a bit small. I am hoping that the adrenaline rush of my having faced the direct charge simply clouded my perception of it's size. [BD] Traps will stay in place in case I am facing multiple threats with a Decon drop to follow tomorrow. War is hell.

That was most likely just a sacrificial decoy. Lay down and put your ear to the floor. If there's a multi-prong attack to follow, as I suspect there is, you'll be able to hear it coming in plenty of time to get your face up where they can't tear your eyeballs out of their sockets and feed them to their young.

Or maybe not.

Mice are evil.

We have them inside the walls (where the four cats cannot get them). Little bastards crawl around in the walls of our bedroom. I am considering drilling a hole in the wall and pumping in a shitload of Raid. [x]

I shot a mouse with a blow gun wire dart one time. He keeled over and died. I picked up the dart it was stuck hard so must have hit bone. The mouse arose and ran off into mouse hole in wall with dart attatched. So I assume there is a dart in my wall somewhere next to a mouse skeleton.

If you are as good with a blowgun as David, go for it.

Do you get a good pattern with the .22? You may want to upgrade and try a .38 CCI shot shell from about 5 feet. I've seen it work.
