I received this card this morning, and wanted to share its message with all of you,fathers,grandfathers and fathers to be:

My first Father's Day! It has been great so far! Daughter slept late, wife was... nice...[;)] and steaks will be on the grill at my folks house at 1300 hrs.

Beautiful daughter there FiveO. You're not hijacking the thread IMO. Without the kids we wouldn't be fathers.

I just got home after 2 hours on the road running my daughter and her best friend home. Her friend lives ½hr west of me and had to have her home by 8:30. Then I took daughter back to her mom's right after that, a ½hr trip east of where I live. So daughter was with me for 1½hrs of the running. Between the time I dropped her off and got home she called and left a message on the answering machine "Hi dad. I just called to say Happy Father's Day. I love you."

Yep. A great day indeed.

The guys are coming at 3PM with the new generation (10 months and almost 9y/o)

Hopefully they will want to go to the land and go shooting,then come back to the house and have a great big BBQ.

I got nookie and a flashlight from my wife.

My 15 yr old daughter made me a collage from her baby pictures and put a poem in the middle for me.

I told her to say something mean to me quickly to keep my from crying, she complied.

WHAT?! Only some of the most beautiful, unspoiled, white, sugary sandy beaches in the US of A!! It WAS "The Redneck Riviera" our best kept secret but now we get em from all over! Come on down, there is no way you would be dissapointed! I think MS and LA are the only Gulf States that got shafted on nice beaches.

Holeshot called it... almost. That trip was Orange Beach but it is on the same island anyway. My folks have a place in OB so we spend mucho time there plus we just live like 30 minutes away.
