im in a rut here, cant think of anything that i really want to eat tonight. figured somebody out there would bring up something i hadn't had in a while from this thread so it accomplishes two goals that way.
my favorite thing to eat has got to be: seafood fried shrimp, oysters, fish, scallops, crab, lobster, hushpuppies, you name it, all in red sauce. with a bud light of course. |

I agree on the sea food. However, I prefer mine slightly different. SUSHI!!!!!! Yes, I prefer mine raw, on a bed of vinegared rice with some wasabi in between. (all shell fish are cooked, not all sushi is raw) In fact, I love all Japanese food. (A man that will eat Sushi will eat any[s]one[/s]thing [}:D]

Enchiladas topped with guacomole, rice, and beans with a cold Tecate. Cant beat it!! Second place is BBQ.

Cubed deer steak, with gravy, mashed spuds and english peas. or if not mashed spuds, wild rice and blackeye peas. With biscuits, of course.
Second would be seafood, fried, boiled, baked anyway except raw, I don't eat anything I could use as fishbait. And yes, I have tried sushi and did not like it. |

|
Mission-style burritos, with fresh soft whole wheat tortillas. Or sushi in all its variety.
|

Japanese and Indian food. Indian food could screw with your system if you eat it right after wake up, though. [:P]

Hmmm... Chicken fried steak Shrimp Tempura Crab Cakes Veal Piccatta Chicken & Dumplings A REALLY good steak Crawfish Ettoufee Chicago style pizza (the real stuff) Dry BBQ Ribs (only if properly made, and not babybacks - those are for yuppies) What can I say, I got a lot of favorites. [:D] |

Grilled Red Snapper topped with Tabasco sauce and lemon with a side of fried rice, cheese potatoes, and cottage cheese.
|
|
chili rellenos
sushi needs to be introduced slowly. I see from the picture you got some from the swim group, the slither group, the squirm group and the slime group. In San Francisco - Seafood pasta in garlic butter and parmesan sauce or diavolo sauce, crusty sourdough bread and real butter and Anchor Steam beer. In an emergency just the sourdough butter and Anchors. Pancit/chow mein Singapore - rice vermicelli with shrimp, pork, chicken, onions and scrambled eggs in a curry based seasoning. Hmm I guess this is why I commented in the cholestrol thread too. |
|
Porterhouse Steak, a little sea salt and cracked peppercorn rubbed on it, seared on the outside and pink on the inside. Mashed new red potatoes whipped with a lot of butter, cream and garlic. My chipotle white corn. Biscuits.

They put cheese and sauce on round bread, and call it pizza. It's going to be big!
