Okay, to prove a point in relation to a thread on F-A.com right now... http://www.full-auto.com/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=005976

It's not all gloom and doom relationship misery over here.... for one, Tweety and I are better now than the day we met. I love my wife and think the world of her. She's my best friend.

How many marriages on AR15.com are doing okay? Is everything fine? Let's hear it from the happily hitched people!

I'm as happy as a married man can be.

going on 24 years, amd 8 kids.  Marriage is a series of up's and down's.  If you both know that going in, then when the hilly country starts, you can recognize it for what it is.

"What God has put together, let no man put asunder" .... believe it!

My hat's off to happily married couples!
(Actually, I don't wear a hat. It's simply a figure of speech. But, I digress....)

I think marriage is a wonderful institution.

I just don't care to be institutionalized!

Wife and I are taking a much needed vacation:

450 mile motorcycle trip to Asheville, NC tomorrow for a cycle rally.

It'll be good to get away together.

Things are going great on my side of the fence.  I'm not married, but my girlfriend still doesn't let me date. I'm in purgatory.

I am in the process of dumping a girl who is "rest of your life" nmarriage material; because i'm young, foolish, and have mixed-up priorities. I will kick myself in the ass when i'm older for letting go of her.

But she sorta has these buck teeth, and it just drives me nuts [:E]

Quite happily married for 4yrs, 11mo, and 3 kids.  We have nothing to get between us, especially material things.  We need $$ to have material things.

Happy but not married to her.
Is 8 years, two dogs and a house close enough to be in the club?

As garand man said, she lets me do whatever I want.

Marriage is a wonderful thing.  I have been "lurking" here for years, and have been married for years.  Any correlation?  AS the name says, we have triplets.  Makes the marriage even better.  Life is good.

3 at a time or 8 total kids would kill me, literally

my one is a FN handful and i let his momma take care of him 95% of the time.  my justification?  as soon as he's old enough to not shit himself he's going everywhere daddy goes, the range, the racetrack, etc.....

my marriage is 3 yrs in, married at 20, 23 now, and everything is great, sans some financial shit but thats to be expected.

my parents relationship ended after 14 yrs, nastily, and while i can only control 50% of it, mine will NOT end up that way if my 50% has anything at all to do with it

12 year Marriage is good.

2 year old son is fine.

I Like my job and I am paid well.

My Debt is managable, no major financial trouble.

I guess I really don't belong here. [:(]

ROFLMAO!  There is room for almost anyone here friend!

I am glad to read about guys with good marriages.  It's a special thing, and very encouraging to see.  Helps to keep my faith up!  Myself, I am a one-woman-man, so being married was a plus to me.

Now, if I could just get my divorce over with....[;D]

11 years

6 year old daughter.  4 year old son.  Another one due in December.

Good job.  Just bought a new house.

I just have this 'Black Rifle Fever' going on...  about every 3 months I have to add another one to my collection.  I'm running out of room in the safe.  I guess it's time to buy another safe...  [:)]

Edited to add:
Married life is not over-rated.  I love it.  I love being a dad.  I look forward to taking my kids shooting and raising them as freedom-loving Americans.

Reminds me of James Coburn's story from the Magnificent Seven. A guy jumped out of a tenth story window. All the way down people kept hearing him say "So far, so good."
