I've read somewhere that IZH is offering 45-70 inserts for their 20" cowboy action guns.  I was wondering if anyone has or has fired one of these beast.  Sort of cool looking, poor mans double gun.  Sloth

I have the coach gun made by them. The bounty hunter II, hammerless. They work well. It is tough to break them open for a while, and I had to do some clean up of gunk in some nooks and crannies when I got it. Otherwise I like it.

I wish they would make a double in 45/70 with express sites...

IMHO, they are junk. More hassle then they are worth. Save up a 5k and buy a used 470NE.
