Yes LarryG, I am going to the DFW Crew dinner tonight. Will probably get there around 6-6:30. Woh just dawned on me. No more wearing shorts and waking up at the crack of noon. Damn!! I have to drive down the 35 fwy too. Lot of accident on that fwy. At least I make my own hours. Great to be in management!!! |

There is a certain amount of irony, though, in the fact that after being unemployed for 5 months, you get a job hiring people. Here's how it should go down: LT: "Why do you want this job?" Unsuspecting recruit: "Well, I've been interested in the field for a long time, I know a lot about it, and I'm good at it." LT: "OK. Are you currently working?" UR: "No." LT: "OK. How long have you been unemployed?" UR: "About 2 months!" LT: "TWO MONTHS?!?! GET THE F@$* OUT OF HERE YOU DEGENERATE SLOB! DON'T COME BACK FOR AT LEAST THREE MONTHS! Two months! Child's play!" UR: *Slam* LT: "Next!" Good luck in your new job. Maybe the jobby-job will somehow attract the girlie-girls to you. |

OH BTW, if any of you have your Securities Licenses. Have a small book of business, doesn't have to be large. Maybe 50-75K gross annual. We have a great training program, tons of product including private placements, life settlements and the ussual investment and insurance product. There is also a plan to become an investment banking firm in a yr or two so that we can start doing IPO's. So if you're looking to move your book to another financial services firm. Our payouts are between 80-90% if you have been thinking to go independent.
We also have a few opening for back office staff. If you have experience in cashiering, new accounts, TOA, Cust Svc., broker support, let me know. We are also looking for a CFO with a FinOps license and CPA background. I am not personally involved in hiring for this position, but can get you contact with the CEO Drop me a line. This company is currently in a growth spurt. I will post our openings here and see if I may be able to help out some of the board members that are unemployed. I'll also see what we have in the IT area. |
