I agree, most people do not base their intelligence off a rather abstract internet quiz, however quite a few people still fall for the trap, or perhaps more ironically,they take the "bait". A perfect example would be this past semester's upper-level psych class. During our class lab breaks, a group of students would take these online tests.I witnessed first-hand, students not competent enough to turn a printer on score 125's to 130's. Now you may try to argue that they are smart, just lacking common sense. Believe me they were'nt; these students had no linguistical skills, no remarkable spatial ability, poor short term memory, no rhetorical reasoning skills, and math.....well, the girl with a 128 could not add up four values mentally to achieve a sum of 83.
As far as me, I scored a 148 on an psychologist-administered Stanford test a few years ago.
