Want's you to pay if you want a break down of your test results, but it will give you your score at the end.

I received an appraised IQ of 138 and am a "Visionary Philosopher"! Woo hoo! Something else to brag about besides my 12 inch manliness. Oh wait,, never mind.. OK, well I can a least brag about my IQ score :-).

Didn't cheat at all either. Don't know how good the test is, but some of the questions required a bit of thinking. I'm sure it is pumped up a bit to flatter the test taker, but I don't mind someone (or something) telling me I'm smart :-)!

Oh sure, you just get done scoring very high in an "IQ" test and you don't know what a "Facts Curator" is [:)]! Good thing it wasn't on the test hehe.

This is one I took a while back and it's still there online to see the results,138.
A bunch of us took it and one guy tried to post a higher score and not knowing the link would show his real score (95).

I think, therefore I spam.

So what does a 158 get you for the Intelectual Type category?

On the results page, it supposedly matched me up with women who are "supposed" to be similar. Damnnnn I got ripped! They're all dogs! If I'm supposed to be a bit smarter by this test and those uglies were my intelectual equals, I now want STUPID BLONDS!

I'm sure they pump up the numbers quite a bit. Who would want to "pay" for their expanded scores results if everyone tested as dumb as they really were? The person that tested and should really be labeled an "intelectual brainfart" aint going to pay for those pretty graphs to frame on his wall.

Just imagine "real" results and explanations like "You barely have enough brain functionality to keep your heart beating while you chew gum. Or how about, "you are an evolutionary dead-end that should have died out from stupidity."

HS, who are we to disagree with you.

There selling something.  Probably ain't gonna tell you you're an idiot, then try to get you to send them money.

If you notice at the end it's got a little matchmaker piece... this is a marketing tool. Now someone will be getting spam email from [email protected] (some moron took my usual [email protected]).

oh, visual mathemetician.

It's also slightly flawed over a real IQ test, in that it should really only be putting out problem solving questions, not knowledge questions (definition of a word type stuff shouldn't be in a real IQ test).

129 Precision Processor

Which is actually a bit low from the real IQ test I took a while back. And I suck at math compared to verbal in reality.

I have a feeling this IQ test is not on the up and up.  Everyone's IQ here is in the 95th percentile?

A real Stanford-Binet Intelligence Quotient test has to be administered by a trained professional and it usually takes up to 3-4 hours.  Also costs at least a 150 dollars if I remember correctly. You're not going to find out what your IQ is with a cockamimmy test on the internet.

anyone try the european IQ test, i think that's the only IQ test i've found online that's not total BS.

I would be extremely cautious about basing one's intellect fortitude by the results of an internet I.Q test. Most I.Q. test are not really meant to quantify your exact intelligence level,(ie, 145 may not always be greater than 144)but are instead used to gauge the "range" of someones intellecual capacities ie, you possess an I.Q. of 130-135.
Even overlooking this, one is still facing the largest problem with internet IQ tests-the glass ceiling. Most test, for conformities sake, have as their maximum score a value of "130". Therefore scoring higher than 130 could theoretically place you anywere from 131-200.
I also find it hard to believe that most of you seem to place on an average of two standard deviations above the mean I.Q. score. If it is true, then I am a fool and ARF.com should start a MENSA board(wait, I think you need a 150 for that).

I wonder what the mean score of the DU would be.......

I went afterwards to the MENSA site and did a little test there. They said I could prolly pass their full on test.

Haha, for kicks I went thru and missed EVERY ONE OF THE ANSWERS ON purpose... Unfortunately, I still have a 72 IQ. Strange.

On the plus side, at least there were a couple cute chicks this time on my [s]advertisement[/s] results page.

Really?  I was putting full stock in a 40 question IQ test off of a website that will also rank you relationship/sex life w/ other couples.

Seriously though, I don't think anyone on here believes this to be wholely valid information.  I don't even know if I would consider it a rough estimation of one's intellect.

What was your score, sigman? [;)]

I agree, most people do not base their intelligence off a rather abstract internet quiz, however quite a few people still fall for the trap, or perhaps more ironically, they take the "bait". A perfect example would be this past semester's upper-level psych class. During our class lab breaks, a group of students would take these online tests.I witnessed first-hand, students not competent enough to turn a printer on score 125's to 130's. Now you may try to argue that they are smart, just lacking common sense. Believe me they were'nt; these students had no linguistical skills, no remarkable spatial ability, poor short term memory, no rhetorical reasoning skills, and math.....well, the girl with a 128 could not add up four values mentally to achieve a sum of 83.

As far as me, I scored a 148 on an psychologist-administered Stanford test a few years ago.
