At the top of your ar15.com display is a list of boards. On the right hand side find "The Armory." Click on this with your left mouse button.
Say, what WOULD be a good first rifle? [;D] |

Try the Guns and Ammo Magazine forums and the Gun Broker.com guns and ammo forums(ask the experts forum)
There are some nice knowledgable people there (regulars)and it is all about a variety of firearms. |

Thanks cyanide i checked that one out unfortunately it doesn't seem to be very active.
Oslow, marvl, i did not mean to insult this forum. I like AR-15.com its just that there's a definite black rifle bias here and after my daily visit i like to go see how the other half lives. In looking at my original post i see where it may seem that i meant that ar15'rs don't know what they're talking about etc. THAT WAS NOT MY INTENT, sorry for the misunderstanding. Redray and redleg i don't know what the hell you're talking about. Byron, i'll check out those forums, thanks. |

There used to be a good General Firearms forum on this site, but they did away with it.

When the move took place, the main complaint was "it was too much trouble to click on the armory button to get there" Hence people are too LAZY to move the mouse and click on an extra button, just like posting handgun questions on General discussion instead of the handgun board. LAZY people have nothing to complain about, but then again I guess they have wore out their wrist with OTHER entertainment issues [:D] |
