Here is something that think every American ought to read at least once, before every election.  Seems not enough have.  

Some of the things you are about to read ought to make you sick to your stomach.

[b]Amendment I[/b]
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

[b]Plank I[/b]
Abolition of private property rights.

[b]Amendment II[/b]
A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.  

[b]Plank II[/b]
A heavy progressive income tax on earnings.
Limitation of private property through progressive taxation, heavy inheritance taxes, abolition of inheritance through collateral lines (brothers, nephews, etc.) forced loans, etc.

[b]Amendment III[/b]
No soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law.

Abolition of rights to inheritance

[b]Plank IV[/b]
Confiscate property of all emigrants and rebels
Confiscation of the possessions of all emigrants and rebels against the majority of the people.

[b]Amendment V[/b]
No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a grand jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the militia, when in actual service in time of war or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.

[b]Plank V[/b]
Monopolized, centrally controlled banking system.
Centralization of money and credit in the hands of the state through a national bank with state capital, and the suppression of all private banks and bankers.
 
[b]Amendment VI[/b]
In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the state and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the assistance of counsel for his defense.

Government control of communication and transportation.
Concentration of all means of transportation in the hands of the nation. on private property has been launched, the proletariat will find itself forced to go ever further, to concentrate increasingly in the hands of the state all capital, all agriculture, all transport, all trade.
 
[b]Amendment VII[/b]
In suits at common law, where the value in controversy shall exceed twenty dollars, the right of trial by jury shall be preserved, and no fact tried by a jury, shall be otherwise reexamined in any court of the United States, than according to the rules of the common law.

[b]Plank VII[/b]
Government ownership of all factories and agriculture.
Organization of labor or employment of proletarians on publicly owned land, in factories and workshops, with competition among the workers being abolished and with the factory owners, in so far as they still exist, being obliged to pay the same high wages as those paid by the state.
 
[b]Amendment VIII[/b]
Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.

Government control of all labor.

[b]Amendment IX[/b]
The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.  

[b]Plank IX[/b]
Corporate farms, regional planning.
Construction, on public lands, of great palaces as communal dwellings for associated groups of citizens engaged in both industry and agriculture and combining in their way of life the advantages of urban and rural conditions while avoiding the one-sidedness and drawbacks of each.

[b]Amendment X[/b]
The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people.  

[b]Plank X[/b]
Government control of education
Education of all children, from the moment they can leave their mother's care, in national establishments at national cost. Education and production together.

[b]Things that communists/socialists/leftists hate:[/b]

The idea that you have a right to own Private Property.

The idea that you have a Free Will: the ability to choose to take an action or not.

The concept of Cause and Effect. The idea that an action has consequences: that something is a direct outcome of an action.

That there could be an Objective Standard of Right and Wrong.

The Family. They think that government should be mother and father. Undermining the American Family

Very good post, but as to which Communist state are you referring to?

Was this the old Soviet Union rules? I have studied Chinese law and its "Constitution" (if you can call it that" and its somewhat different. But the PRC has a different kind of Socialism running anyway.
