And for our Socal and San Antonio, TX brothers we'll include El Pollo Loco. Who has the better chicken?

I for one would vote for El Pollo Loco chicken with Popeyes spicy chicken as a close second. However I love the fried ocra at Church's and KFC does have some good biscuits.

What say you folks?

P.S. I am currently chowing down on some Popeyes chicken with their cajun rice. MMMM good. But have always wondered this question everytime I eat in any of these fine establishments.

If we're talkin just chicken, I'll say Popeye's Tender roast.  I have never heard of Church's.

Churchs is much like Popeyes. They just have different sides. Although I don't think they have Tender Roast chicken.

Are you really looking for an answer or are you just bored?

Popeye's spicy. Churchs is only good for the okra. KFC no thank you!

Just bored and still hungry. Also a bit of curiosity [;D]

Church's is in a league by itself.  I remember that in 1988, they ran some TV ads over in Taiwan comparing the greatness of Church's fried chicken to Hitler, complete with a Chinese Adolf Hitler.  Now that had gobs of class.

All I have to say is...three-piece spicy with Cajun rice and an extra biscuit!

The answer is KFC. The flavor is awesome, and if you get extra crispy, the grease isn't bad. Second runner up is Mrs. Winners.

Hardees chicken hands down, if you can find a store that sells it.

Popeye's is the finest chicken on the planet. None of the others even come close.

And that would be a 4 piece, spicy, cajun rice and an extra biscuit.

Actually, I used to like Bojangles a lot, too, and I think their biscuits were even better than Popeye's.

I get “flu symptoms” when I eat Popeye’s [:|]

I haven't had Church's in years. The chicken pieces were much bigger than KFC.

I like the cajun stuff like the crawfish at Popeyes.

I do not like KFC. Their chicken is so greasy that an hour after eating, the oil comes oozing out of my face and smells just like extra crispy.

In order:

1.) Hardees (actually excellent for a fast food joint)
2.) Mr. Chicken (here in northern Ohio)
3.) Popeyes (consistent)
4.) KFC (inconsistent)

Never had Church's.

Might be a way for you to attract chicks. Fat chicks, but nevertheless chicks. Beggars can't be choosers. [;D]

I can't believe none of the SoCal people are voting for El Pollo Loco. I miss that place. Almost enough to drive 4+hrs to San Antonio.

For quality of the chicken, KFC seems better lately than Popeyes.  Popeye's spicy chicken is tasty but their chicken seems to have lots of nasty extra fat deposits on it.  Popeye's side orders are excellent.

Where I live, you have to go to the ghetto for Popeye's or Church's.  I have not been to either one in many years.  Church's used to have a really good crispy chicken, but Popeye's had bigger portions.  Both are better than KFC.

Seasoned batter is good, KFC popcorn chicken which was tender white chunks covered with batter.  Sometimes it was just a chunk of batter[:D]

El Pollo Loco for the least grease

Take any piece of fried chicken, place it on a plate in the microwave for 3 minutes. Puddle of grease.

Popeye's has the better chicken.  Church's has the better biscuits.  Remember when KFC had their hot wings....mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

KFC? [puke]

Church's [puke] [puke]

Popeye's [puke] [puke] [puke]

Now Chic-Fil-La is pretty good if you want chicken, but I don't know how far west of the Atlanta area those go.

mmmm popeyes is pretty good but best chicken ever is at a small place calld "the spot" in Cumberland, WI  their motto is "if the Colonel (i know) had our chicken, he'd be a General by now!"

Nah! Go to R&R Market on Wadsworth Street in Radford, VA.

They give Popeye a black eye and court martial the Colonel!

You'll never eat anyone else's chicken again.

I wish that I can have some El Pollo Loco up here but I don't.  So, I will have to vote for Popeyes.  I love spicy food.

I'm not much on variety and at fast food places, I only eat chicken fingers /strips etc.

KFC used to have great chicken nuggets. Then they switched to strips and it wasn't as good.

I love Burger Kings chicken tenders.  yummy.

McDonalds, yuck yuck yuck.

Haven't had Churchs or Popeye's chicken in awhile.

The best fried chicken anywhere is Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken in Richmond, VA.  I think there are some Lee's restaurants in other places too.  If you see one, try it!  It beets the hell out of KFC, Popeye's, and Church's.

Chick-Fil-A has the best boneless chicken you can get get anywhere!!!!! Their sandwiches, nuggets, and strips are by far the best I have ever had. I do not care much for chicken with bones in it anyway. So if you have not tried it go do it.
