There are some AR mags and AK mags for sale. They have been blocked though.

I thought the price was crazy too Stubbs but they are hard to find up here. They have been blocked as per our Draconion gun law that states any semi-auto rifle can only have a mag capacity of 5 rounds.

Er, oh wait, umm, except in Kalifornia.  Oh, and New Jersey.  And Hawaii.  And, oh yeah, Mass.

But, it won't ever come to YOUR state...  trust me!  Not even as a result of Federal legislation...

I've thought about it but the visa/green card hassle isn't worth it.
Things have been pretty quiet lately. The next big date is Jan. 2003. That's when all long guns have to be registered. The federal gov't is in the process of trying to privatize the Gun Registry. This is meeting with stiff opposition by the NFA, provincial governments and just about everyone concerned. the biggest issue is the right to privacy in regards to the very personal info the gun registry has.
They announced a couple of days ago that the registry is laying off most if not all the casual or part time workers. This is going to make a terrible situation much worse. They are months if not years behind processing the few applications they have. Alot of people plan on waiting untill the very last day to register. That will plug the system for years[:D]
