Then come on back. It was a mess to set up this year for some reason. I think there are ballgames this week right?
I'm not sure, but I think this is set up to drop the worst week, I know one of them is. Anyway, starting late or missing a week seems to not make a lot of difference. Didn't last few years. We had guys that came in late vie for the lead. I've been lucky , every year I wind up in the top 5-7, basically the top half. If I get higher than that it's great. I almost won one last year. It came down to me and another member, the last game, and a tie breaker. He got me by a half point I think it was. I think it went by who had the most correct picks that week or something. |

I need to add, please change on of the two names on the ESPN thing to your username here, or something besides the ESPN thing, and post here what you changed it to. Those ESPN generated number names get confusing when posting the rankings, plus there's a prize for the winner, so I need to know who to give it to.

OK, week three in the books now. Wild week in some ways. FSU , what they heck? Anyway, the results for this week are in.
Congrats to my very own self for 1st place for the week. Also, congrats to myself for 1st place overall for the total. I'm sure I'll be displaced in the next week or two. In 7 years of playing on here, I've never held top spot over a week or two, and I won the title once in one of the two games, but that was when someone else was running the game. PS, let's see which one of you is gonna knock me out of first place. I'm only up 5pts,and that's nothing in this game. NFL would take a week to catch, but this college game it's nothing. Doesn't look like a really hard week this week, I think it will come down to point assignment. Oh, also, I think I'm going to try and snag a few mags with these deals that are on right now. That way those are out of the way regardless of how any panic might go. If anyone cannot have a 30rd shipped to their state , but can have a 20 or a 10, please let me know, and I will order one of those as well in case you win. Another week in the books, and another week of upsets. Don't forget to make your picks for the NFL games Sunday if you play that, and , there is still time to join, since on that one we drop the worst week. I will say, after this week, there will be no catching up. I will be locking this game tonight and the NFL game after game time. If anyone wants to join either, just IM me or post in the thread. You can still have fun, and if everyone decides to pitch in $5 per entry, we can do prizes for the first three places, so you may wind up getting something. Say two mags for the 1st place winner, and one mag for the 2nd and 3rd place. With just me doing the funding, I can only do the one mag per 1st place. If you guys agree to it, I'd like to get a vote on it, and have the money in by mid October at the latest, due to election scares we always see. I'm probably going to go ahead and order the two first place mags this weekend to get them out of the way while there are good deals out there, and I need a couple of more mags myself.

Now that I've gotten over my vicious ousting from first place to third, here are the results as they currently stand.
Congrats to WarDamnMT for beating even the second closest player this week by 11 points. 43 points this week. For the season so far, WarDamnMT's steady performance and his skill has put him on top , with 203pts, Hydrostat 2nd with 183pts, and myself, falling to 3rd, with 179pts. Both warDamnMt and Hydrostat have been consistently in the high 38s to mid 40s each week. Hydro is always a fierce competitor, year after year, but, a challenger has emerged. Anyway, this just shows how fast things can change. Here are the standings. What I'm asking is $5 per entry per contest, so if you only do this one, $5, but if you do both, $10. You can donate more if you'd like. Just IM me and I'll give you my address. I want to try and do two mags for the winner, and one for the 2nd and 3rd in each contest. Somehow I posted this in the NFL game. My brain isn't always fully operational, it's sort of like the death star.
Alrighty then, another week in the books. A little movement here and there, and an increase in the lead all happened this week. I apologize for being late in posting the update. Sometimes I have real bad days and while I will be on here posting some things, and reading , doing anything that takes concentration is nearly impossible.
