you need ammmo, and lots of it..
go to the nearest gunstore and buy a couple cases of ammo. put it by your bed when you sleep. do this for a couple nights, it should solve the problem. [:D] |

I have a similar dream where my gun is broke and I'm running around with it taken apart trying to fix it!

I have a few books on dreams and dream analysis at home. I’ll look it up for you tonight. Heck, I’ve had similar dreams where I actually shoot an intruder and no matter how many shots they take they don’t stop. Weird.
Often dreams are inspired by something you’ve been considering or about which you’ve been worried. Or they could be inspired by some encounter or incident. For example, the other night I watched a little bit of the Exorcist and that night I had several dreams about snakes. Per many dream analysts, snakes for many people represent evil. Have you been concerned about home safety lately? Have you been feeling an inadequacy regarding your capabilities of defending your family? Seen any movies where the good guys are just overwhelmed by bad guys? |

Clearly you have impotence problems, ie:gun doesn't work.
Get some Viagra and spend more time shooting. My nightmare dream is having to take a final when I didn't go to class all semester. I have been out of school since 1987 and yet I still have this dream. |

Similarly when my dreams involve guns, at the time they are needed most, I will have malfuntions such as misfeeds, jams, etc. Or the always popular failure to stop dream where the bad guy just keeps on coming after dumping a mag into him.

i had that same dream. i was suffering from a lack of trigger time and confinence in my abilities. you need to buy 1000 rounds of ammo and shoot it 100 rounds at a time at the pistol range. then take a class at Thunder ranch, Gunsite or a high quality shooting school.

I had a dream where I shoot an intruder multiple times to no avail. The dream ends right as I have resorted to giving him a buttstroke to the jaw but I wake up before I make contact.

Thats pretty damn close to my recurring dream. Different situations, different scenarios, but the common thread is that the trigger on my glock cant be squeezed hard enough. Sometimes in my dreams i use both hands and it still wont go off.

i think I had that dream once, put a 2 1/2LB trigger on your gun and then the you will have enough force to pull the trigger.

I have been out of school since 1987 and yet I still have this dream. Funny you said this, my "gun" works just fine, but I did just have a vasectomy... maybe i'm subconsciously feeling "unloaded"?? I think the shoot this sat will help! Maybe 1k of rounds will work wonders. I keep an AR for home defense, and i know how to use it and that it will work, but I still have these dreams. I watched a court tv show about a guy that slashed the throat of a woman and her baby, maybe i was still pissed off about that when I went to bed. |

Yeah, I had a few dreams like that. For some reason when I pulled the trigger it seemed like the gun melted or fell apart.
Course of action: Sleep with a pistol on your bed stand next to your bed. This will ease your mind, because you know that gun is real and will function every time. Besides if it does happen it will be right there. |

I always thought that if i had some of those i would position them all around the house then if SHTF i could just push a button by the bed and trigger them all at the same time, effectively creating a dead zone on all sides of the house. Acutally, i've been on full auto since about three weeks after the operation...something about not having to worry about kids makes it a lot more fun!!! edited, cause it was more like 3 weeks before I was actually shootin blanks. |
