hell, im already kissing the wifes ass and saving up to possibly rent a motor home, its only a 5 hour drive for me!!!!!!!!!!
though, to do it i may have to babysit the 14 month old BY MYSELF for a full weekend, so i may not recover in the 2 months separating the two events.............. |

thats no shit, i hosted a little shoot down here for about 15 folks and didnt do half of what i expected to do, not because it was impossible, but because all the fancy guns distracted me!!!!!!!!!!

TX to CT, with say about a months notice should be around $250-300 rnd trip. Maybe cheaper if you go to Orbitz.com or cheaptickets.com
As many of you know that TX is also a class 3 state. So if you guys are travelling from another Class3 state, I suggest you guys get your forms to take your Class3 out of state early. Also for those folks with CCW, here's a list of state that TX has reciprocity with.

We will have a pretty huge range for you guys, including a 1000yd range. Overall, this event will be held in the most gun friendly state out there. It is in between the West an east coast. |

Damn this sounds like something I should get involved with... oh wait, never mind. That weekend is my yearly gathering of toe nail collectors.
See, we get together in Hackensack, NJ and we share our toe nail stories, show old clippings, and even watch film or toe surgeries. It's a wonderful time and although no woman attend, we're hoping that some will show up. (Last year we PAID for a few, and they refused to show up [=(]) In all seriousness, this hypothetical gathering will be a wonderful time for everyone. How? We've learned a great deal about the community in the past few years and we want this gathering to show you just how much. The range is TOP NOTCH and will be staffed with AR15.Com members, shooting experts from the community, local range instructors, and will feature everything from open shooting to scheduled events. Vendors and industry reps will be on the premises to talk about, and sell, great products. (Where else can you not only MEET, but hit the range with these guys!) To top if all off, you will be surrounded by the people you've gotten to know online here and on other websites. |

ok, my wife gave me the initial thumbs up, so unless something unexpected happens i'll be there, probably will at least haul PowerSlave along with me, if his wife lets him go as well.
and even if im broke, i know a guy with a bumper pull travel trailer he may let me borrow..............i think my 496 can handle it by the way, its a silver crew cab if thats the route i go, i will have beer, need only to look me up [<]:)] and while it may damn well break me and force me to sell all the tools out of the back of the truck, i will honor past "buy you a beer" offers.......... |
