Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Muzzle Brake vs. No Muzzle Brake

I have a post ban Colt with a Johnson, factory  muzzle brake. It looks like a Bushmaster Y-Comp. I works great. Absolutely no muzzle rise and low felt recoil. I've never fired an AR with a straight barrel. How much of a difference is there between an AR with a muzzle brake and one without?

On a 20" hbar not to much other than noise. ther is a little more muzzle climb but not much. On a 16" it make s a fair difference. The brake will increase noise on the line and some say affect extreame accuracy.
