The key here is that driving in Fl is a PRIVALIDGE and NOT A RIGHT....who cares what those Islamic law experts say...if you do want to play by the rules then shut the hell up..the pic is mandated for a reason.....what if I did not want to take off my shoes before entering their Mosk because I did not beleive it was right??? There is always somebody, somewhere, who thinks they can claim discrimination....and ALWAYS a lawyer waiting to take up the case...welcome to America

My religion proclaims that I should not have my picture taken for it will steal may soul so I will wear a ski mask.
Bend over America, it's time to slap it to you again. I thought the license picture was for identification? So I guess this Muslim hottie can't fly on a plane. She does have a point so we should chang the passport picture laws too. That way we can let anyone Muslim in without really knowing who it is. Of course, we could always do the Crocidile Dundee crotch check to insure the gender. How the hell can something like this even make it to court. What [bs]! |

I think this woman has a felony record. The state has compelling reasons for photo especially post 9-11. However they have cases in other states where they have allowed licenses without photos. Some states do not have photos on licenses at all IIRC. Kinda dopey that they let her have one in the first place and now are trying to cover their ass. Is it the sun?
I'd give her a ticket for driving with a veil on as it restricts vision and make sure the license states it is not valid photo i.d. for other purposes than driving. the menonites around here don't have photos on their drivers licenses. just a dumb little sign that says "no photo". i have to turn them away when they want to buy a firearm.
i tell them: i HAVE to have picture ID. they say: we don't have our pictures taken i say: then you can't buy a gun. they are pretty nice about it though. none have argued with me, just walked off. i think they buy their firearms at the local trade day. it is all private sales. |

I was listening to one of the AM talkshows and a caller that had called in said that she is a CONVICTED FELON. I believe he said it was for bad checks or something to that effect. He said the information came from CourtTV. If this is the case, it shouldn't even be a question as to whether she has to have it or not. She needs to have it!!!
I think every drivers license needs to have a picture. |

She is a convicted felon (child neglect/abuse)and guess what???...the state tried to submit her booking photo - sans viel - as eveidence, but it was rejected by the judge! The Islamic law expert even testified that there were instances that she could show her face....i.e. - doctor visits, pictures for passports and DL's, etc....bet the defense sunk under the table when they heard this guy sing!
