Just wondering if there are any k-9 handlers on this board. What kind of dog do you have? What kind of training and/or titles do you have on your dogs? IPO, Sch, ect.

How many times has your dog possibly saved you from shooting/drawing your gun on someone?

A friend of mine was telling me about a domestic he went to a few weeks ago.  He said that the dispatcher told him they heard a man in the background shouting, "I don't care if the cops come I'll shoot the s.o.b.'s." In addition, something to the effect that the cops would get what he just gave her, a beating.  So my friend shows up and gets his dog out. Well the guy starts screaming to put the dog away and lays down and puts his hands behind his back. (there are more details to the story but you get the idea)
