Several of us used to like those bullet-shaped candy. We would buy several and carry them around. That was until one of us found out those candy "bullets" were supposed to be candy lipstick containers. OOPS!
End of buying those! |

Quoted: Green bubble gum and those big long fat pixi sticks full of sugar. View Quote Oh, hell yeah!! Pixie sticks were the inevitable end result of some kid experimenting with all the "gateway" candy. Sure, you start off eating $100,000 bars, Snickers, or whatever. Didn't matter what path you chose, the road always ended at the Pixie sticks. Those things were a hardcore sugar rush in an innocent-looking striped package. [:D] |

In my ongoing efforts to help out people here is a site I ran across that sells most if not all of the classic candies:
Nostalgic Candy Please remember my assistance when baseless accusations are leveled against me. |
|
i don't remember its name, but it came in a silver-ish package. it was the same stuff that was in the middle of Zotz. i grab a handful, throw it in my mouth, then when it was good and foamy i'd let it ooze out all over my face. mom hated that stuff

Jolly Rancher flavored jelly beans

I loved those white candies that looked like cigarettes. My parents were afraid that I would get hooked into smoking. Of course even to this day, I don't smoke.
Quoted: Good N' Plenty View Quote Ahh man, I still remember that commercial with Good N' Plenty Charlie. Its a short animation that had several kids in it that were pretending they were a train, and the guy that was the engine was called Charlie, and he would hold the box of candie and pretend he was a steam engine leading 4 or 5 kids down the track, and saying "Good N' Plenty, Good N' Plenty, Good N' Plenty" like a train going into the sunset. |
|
Zouts!!
Hands down.... Just found a Dutch store in town that has them.... Mmmmmmmm |
|
All these low-class trashy man-made candies...
Nothing like Lindt chocolate or even some good, plain Finnish Fazer chocolate. I really like that German Haribo stuff, Katjes is all natural AND it tastes great! Their yogurt gumdrops are the best! Why does anyone like those cheap, crappy gum brands like Wrigley, and even worse, *shudder*, Bazooka and that crap? That stuff tastes bad, loses its flavor in .2 seconds, and just sucks. Cinnaburst is tied with Cinnamon flavored Icebreaker... flavor lasts forever, great stuff. I also like Orbit, but that's mint flavored, so it's not that much fun. |
|
Mine were:
Sweetarts (not smarties...) Nerds and Jolly Ranchers, specifically Green Apple and Lemon flavors. |
