Welcome home to a grateful nation! Thank you for your service. [USA] Questions? - Where were you in Iraq? What kind of action did you see? - Can you post any pictures if you have any? - How do the locals really feel about us being there? - What did it smell like over there? |
Thanks for your effort in defending America. I hope you return to a good life and easy living. You earned it.
Did you see my nephew over there? He's about this tall and was wearing camoflage clothing. |
Thanks for your service. It is greatly appreciated and I'm especially glad you made it back unharmed.
Your service to you country is added to the sacrifices of those that served before you and sets the example for those that will follow. |

Hey! Welcome back! I remember when you left. I bet these past few months have been the longest in your life. I want you to know you have my deep gratitude for your service and sacrifice, and I'm sure most all the members here feel the same way.
My sincerest thanks and deepest appreciation for your service. I am glad for each of you that return. I am sorry that the need was there but am proud of you for meeting that need. Some times in order to assure the peace, we must go to war. I am proud of our nation, its leaders and most of all for its soldiers that faced the threat to insure the safety of those left behind.

Since you asked, I have a couple or four things I would like to know. Do you know of anyone who's life was save by their vest ? Did you see combat ? What did you need that you should have had and couldnt get ? Did you guy get a debrief when you returned to the real world about the changes to yourself and how it will affect your family ? |

Welcome Home Devil Dog!!!
[marines] You gents did all of us old farts proud! Spend some time with your wife and family. You have NO IDEA how much they worried about you. When you get a chance, tell us where you went and what you saw on a day by day basis if you can remember. Writing it down will be good for you, and you will be able to pass on to your grand childrens grand children your story of a Marine that went to fight against evil in the war on terroism. Ya done good Son, real good! |
Welcome Back!!
Thank You for a job well done! I wouldn't even know where to begin asking questions, so I'll just watch the answers to the others' questions. Glad you're back. I hope you're as proud of what you all accomplished over there as we are. |
Thank you for your service!
Also, please let your loved ones know that we also appreciate their sacrifice. |
Welcome home! Thank you is an inadequate expression, but thank you AND your shipmates anyway!

What kind of action did you see? - Can you post any pictures if you have any? - How do the locals really feel about us being there? - What did it smell like over there? View Quote I was in Iraq. We did street fights in the middle of Baghdad. I'll post some photos when I get some. The locals loved us all they helped a lot they told us where missiles FROG and Scud missiles and guns RPG's they also showed us where the Bio weapons where. We also got children out of concentration camps that Saddam set up. The way it smelled! Well it stunk because they just throw there trash out in the street dead dogs on the side of the road so it smelled bad. u-baddog Since you asked, I have a couple or four things I would like to know.
