I feel bad for the shark.
And that cage design is fucking stupid |

you go in the cage
cage goes in the water sharks in the water our shark farewell and adieu.... |

Note to self: Don't try to film a Great White while in a chicken-wire shark cage.

When you enter the ocean, you leave your position at the top of the food chain. |

I'm not a diver.
Is the shark supposed to be in the cage with the diver like that? That was a pretty big shark to try to fit in such a small cage. There's just no way you're going to fit both the shark and the diver in there at the same time like that. That's just poor planning if you ask me. |

Next time they need to bop them on the head a little before they bait the cage, that way they are still alive and fresh, but not quite so lively enough to get out of the cage.

when I showed up to the dock and they were loading up a hog wire "shark cage" with a 3 foot wide "window" in it
I think I would just turn right around shark cage I got in was as actual cage and even had plexi inside the aluminum frame to keep you from feeding the sharks toes and fingers |

Swim with sharks they said, once in a lifetime opportunity....better thrill ride than a roller coaster. I paid WHAT for this?

|
What was that final shot in the video-- looked like the shark got one of the divers by the foot? It didn't look like it was from the same location as the rest of the video.

The follow up video says they removed part of the cage for better viewing. When the shark grabbed the bait they had in the water, he tried to swim off with it blindly, and wedged himself in the cage.
I don't think he was trying to eat the people in the cage, but I would have definitely need a change of drawers! |

That's a FANTASTIC shark trap. What are they going to do with it now? But it seems like the little escape hatches for the bait could operate more smoothly.Unless the bait is expendable, a consumable. Maybe losing some bait now and then is just the way it goes in shark trapping. I'm not a shark trapper so I don't really know. Is the bait considered a consumable in shark trapping?

I'm not trapped in here with you, you're trapped in here with ME!!!

Needed screaming and a gallon or two of blood. Just wasn't realistic.

Heh, look at those bubbles... seems they forgot all about trying to watch their air consumption.
