Ducasse's parents say their son had gone out with his friend to get a
milkshake, passing a nearby shelter on their way home. They say two
people followed their son and his friend, looking for money.

"My son said, 'Don't touch me, I don't have money,'" says Angela Ducasse, the victim's mother.

According to police, after the suspect
asked for money, a physical confrontation ensued and a friend or
associate of the suspect stabbed Ducasse in the chest near 175th Street
and Walton Avenue.
