I just asked my 9 year old what she would say if she were playing tag and all of a sudden her shoe fell off. She said "Time out!"

My kids are 9. They (and all their friends) say "time out" or "time" when they play. Never heard anyone, regardless of age, use the term "pause" in that manner.

Haven't noticed. Kids don't seem to say "groovy" or "Daddy-O" either. I am extremely unconcerned. |
