Ie. flat front, no cuff. Just talking quality wise. Ie. for men. I had some from Duluth Trading that I loved at first, but I've worn them out.

Bills Khakis were the best hands down as of two years ago but they've been bought, changes have been made and many many longtime customers myself included aren't happy with the service or quality any longer. So at current I'm not certain who makes the best.

Cabela's sells some under the Outfitter line that are pretty well made. Regular on them is $40, which I feel is about $10 too much. I paid less than $30 on sale, and that price seemed like a deal.

I'm sick about what happened to Bills.  They were the only khakis I had bought for almost 10 years.  The Bullard field pant  was worth every penny of it's ridiculous price.

I'm looking for a usa made replacement myself.

Yep. Love mine. Slimmer fit which is kind of hard with my meaty thighs but they're comfy and lasted longer than most jeans I've had.

Those actually look serviceable as beater or disposable chino's.  Any idea what the rise is like?  It looks fairly short in the pictures which doesn't work for me.

Wrangler used to make khakis that were cut/fit just like their jeans.  I think they were labeled "Riata".  I can't find them anymore.  Makes me mad because they fit so well, especially with boots.

Hard to find khakis that look ok with cowboy boots.  Almost all are too baggy in the leg and just look silly.

LAPG is selling vertx khakis (not "tactical" ones) for $14.99

Apparently Eddie Bauer's have a lifetime satisfaction guarantee. IE wear them out, bring them in and get a new pair. I found this out after I through away a pair that ripped. I've always liked the fit and quality of Eddie Bauer.

I love Brooks Brothers. Have to special order my size, but they are well made and last better than any others I've tried.

However, they seem to susceptible to stains. When my kids were little, this was an issue.

I found the Banana Republic Emerson Chinos to be very good.  Pricey, but when they are on sale, they are reasonable.

I wear Hagar work to weekend khakis. They have an expandable waistband so they fit perfectly with or without IWB holster.

They're not too bad, seems normal to me. They're nowhere close to American Eagle chinos which are pretty low.

I like them. They fit nicely and are cheap.

I had to buy an emergency pair of pants (non-poop related) while in Denver recently and the nearest store was the Gap. Haven't been in a Gap store or owned a pair of khakis in a long time and I'm actually impressed by the fit and quality. Plus they were on sale 50% off.
