I know the good old US is the best place to be right now- but how can you really be forsure? AND how long will it last?

Dont get me wrong! I love my country! I just dont like the Commie fucks who are taking over!!!

A good plan always has a backup- so where do you go if the US continues down the tubes with the liberals and the Feinsteins and the rise of JBT's- not to mention the economy.

Please dont hi-jack this thread- Im just curious of where the best place would be for some who enjoy freedom and a good way of life.

The place to go is "to work".  At fixing it.  Just remember that a prevention is always better than a cure.

Exactly right.  Feinstein and company want you to leave so as to make room for more illegal aliens who will vote liberal.  Stay put and join the fight to regain control of our country.

Go to Texas.  Can't they still legally secede from the Union, something in the original state constitution?  [:D]

Seriously.  Get to work.  Do something to sabotage the growing socialist republic.  Maybe siege Kalifornia with an army armed with swords and catapults.

I guess Im just pissed and looking at my options.

I know that this thread is kinda wrong, I'm just getting fed up with things like "bling bling" being added to the dictionary and the anti-gunners- Michael Moores, and the Welfare Socialists, all the fags who sue Oreo cookies, the pusificaton of the public and the damn state of Kalifornia in general. Its a Cancer, and I feel powerless, I could just hop from state to state and I would see the same shit.

My feelings about what is happening to America and the American way of life is best represented by this analogy:

Its like standing on the tracks of two colliding trains headed at each other in slow motion. You are watching the ground work get set in motion- the trains start moving hundreds of miles apart, at first it looks like its going to be ok- because they are so far apart it would be so easy to send one down another track and collision would be avoided. But that's not the case anymore- the trains have gained so much speed that the distance between the two are but just a few feet- by myself I cannot stop the trains, my only option would be to get out of the way.

OH yea, the spell checker needs to be updated to include "bling bling"

I'll try to answer the original question.

I should note that my responses are mostly Asian, since I'm fluent in Chinese (makes things much easier). Still, none of these countries are too alien.

You have a couple things to consider here. Most people leaving the US would want a place that speaks English; that's do-able, thanks to the economic strength of America, and a couple centuries of British imperialism. Most Americans would like a capitalist country.. socialism pretty much infects the world, so it's gonna be hard to match this. Consequently be ready to get taxed out your shitter. If you don't have an actual income, though, and are living on savings, this isn't usually a great problem; just prep yourself for the VATs.

Most of the world is also what we would consider leftist. Bite your toungue and don't lash out; it makes you unpopular. With that in mind, there are a couple places I think an average American could live in with relative ease.

Canada is always an OK choice. I'm sure you already know the main points, but I'll try to gloss over. It's a modern country in the areas people live in. You can get guns with a good bit of paperwork as I understand it, and the standard of living is comparable. It does get cold. It is a socialist-esque country (like the rest of the world), so you kinda have to bite your toungue as an American import.

Presuming you have some quantity of money already saved up, the Philippines are not a bad choice; many speak English, your money is pretty powerful, and the climate's good. Infrastructure in most places is modern. Gun ownership for citizens is easy, but it's controlled around cities. Still, all the gun bans extend only to places outside one's own home, so you still have the option of defense in your abode. Lots of expats in the Philippines, so you'd be in good company.

Singapore is a good option, but there's a good bit of learning to do, and you'd definitely  be an outsider; but to an extent everybody is. There are expat clubs and such, though, so you wouldn't be alone. It's a lot different, but I know a bunch of people living in S'pore that're Americans and get by rather well. It's quite different, but a very nice place to live.

Australia is also good and modern, speaks English, and your money goes pretty far. I don't know anything about their gun laws except that the far majority of semi autos are banned.

South Africa in some ways is good, but oh my freaking gad crime is bad. My aunt has barbed wire in her backyard and a gun in every room of her house/apartment. She's been highjacked in her car twice (she drives a Benz, so YMMV), and she has security bars on her windows. Still, many speak English, the climate's nice, and from what I hear, it's pretty much a gunowner's paradise.

None of these choices are as good as staying in America. At least for now, anyway. I'd like to stay and fight, but if things get unrecoverable, I'm packing my bags and heading off. Freedom-snatchers from the left and right are just waiting to pounce and make america a world-class shithole, and I'm just going to hope I can help enough to keep them away. Fight hard.

When Willie Klinton got re-elected I asked myself the same question.  I pulled my globe off the shelf and started looking for a new place to call home.  When I was done I couldn't find a place I'd rather be, in spite of all our warts and defecrats.

I hear South Africa was a very nice country until the ANC took over.  Now, according to news reports I've read, it leads the world in rapes.

Having been in the UK, the single biggest drawback is the gun laws.  If it weren't for that I could live there pretty easily.  Heck, I could probably teach them how to season food while I'm there too! (No, no, no!  You don't boil sausage- you fry it, then cook your scrambled eggs in the grease!).

The terrorists in the Philipines are a concern.  Generally good people there except for them.

Can we consider Alaska another country?

LOL, good answers! I wasn't really serious when I made the original post, I just wanted to see what you guys would come up with if God forbid the worse would happen.

Keep posting too! Although Sometimes it does hurt to think outside of the box and thinking on the worst case scenarios is no exception.

I second the notion of TEXAS,thats where most of the good-ole-Rebs from the last Civil War fled to!  They even speak a kind of broken English!
